Culinary win and good weekends
Apr. 25th, 2009 07:01 pmSo anyway... I had good reason to want to learn how to make a "white sauce" in cooking, because I will need it later to help season a dish I want to try later in May. While doing a little research, I ran across a recipe for a white lasagna that uses mushrooms, noodles, white sauce, and cheese.
orenda33 and I tweaked it a little bit to include chicken, and holy cow... it was very close to awesome! I'll definitely try variations of this in the future, though not too often. It's very rich~!
In other news, we roamed through Shady side most of the afternoon, looking at all the awesome shops. That's something else we'll have to do again, soon.
