Sami slipped on the stairs and broke her leg in three places, which was exactly what everyone needed two days after Christmas!! Because both bones are broken across at the ankle (the third bone is a longer break a few inches under the knee) she had to have three screws surgically inserted and cannot put any weight on that leg for three months!! Basically it was a complete clusterfuck and we kind of limped through last week and my boss told me to take the rest of this week off so that we could arrange wheelchair hire and doctors appointments and everything. (oh yeah and prepare for our rent inspection today... the lady came through bang on 9.00am and passed us, although she mentioned a few things that could be cleaner for next time)
We're mostly settled now but still adjusting to a new routine. *hugs* thanks for your offer of help but don't think there's anything specific you guys can do to assist at the moment :) If I think of something I'll let you know though!!
